How do we call means of transport in Swahili?

The Swahili people use different means of transport. The cheapest means among these is a bicycle while the most expensive is an airplane. The following are the most common facilities the Swahili people in East Africa use as means of transport:

Bus (basi)

Car (gari)

Bicycle (baiskeli)

Motorcycle (pikipiki or bodaboda)

Ship (meli)

Train (treni or garimoshi)

Boat (boti or mashua)

Airplane (ndege)

Helicopter (helikopta)

Bajaj (bajaj)

Pontoon boat (pantoni)

Truck or lorry (lori)

Taxi (taksi)
